Marina Bay offers high-end shopping, dining experiences, and even has a casino. It’s also a great place to see a Broadway hit or even a local show. If you are a food-lover or shopping enthusiast, Orchard Road is the destination for. This retail destination houses just about every type of restaurant and store you could ever want and plays a major part in annual festivals like Christmas in the Tropics. You’ll also find food and shopping delights in the Clarke Quay area along the river, Little India (the quirky little area for food lovers) and in Chinatown, which transforms into a vast market filled with vendors, street performers, acrobats, and more throughout the year.
Madrid, Spain’s capital, has been a popular destination for centuries due to its exceptional culture, history, and art. Complete with peaceful parks, medieval architecture, royal palaces, and renowned museums, Madrid has something for everyone.
Close to the Teatro Real (Royal Theatre) and Opera House, The Royal Palace of Madrid is stunning and is the largest royal palace in all of Europe. The Prado Museum and the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum, along with the Reina Sofía Art Center is the perfect day for art lovers. Be sure to enjoy an afternoon at Parque del Retiro, dating back to 1631, and its beautiful sculptures and monuments showcased within the gardens and galleries. Plaza de Cibeles, pictured above, is a must see.
Mercado San Miguel, one of Madrid’s oldest and most prestigious food markets, is a popular destination for visitors. Traditional paella should be enjoyed while staying in Spain. While visiting, be sure to try a simple tapas platter and a pitcher of sangria. Every place has its own recipe and each one is the best in the city.
National Parks and beaches surround the beautiful and modern city of Sydney. For a natural experience in Sydney, be sure to go out to the white sand beaches of Bondi Beach. The India Gate, reminiscent of the Arc de Triomphe in Paris, is a 42-meter high war memorial that honors 70,000 soldiers who lost their lives during World War I.
Local street markets and modern shopping are available here. Handmade jewelry and Tibetan handicrafts can be found at the Janpath Market while the Monastery Market is the best destination for affordable clothing. If you prefer something more upscale, Khan Market is an upscale shopping destination.
Dubai, the sixth most searched destination, is the most decadent destination on our list and is probably the most extravagant place on Earth.

Paris has long been a favorite travel destination due to its romantic and historical air. It’s a city as iconic as its centerpiece, the Eiffel Tower, and is synonymous with fashion, culinary, history, art, and architecture.

Those seeking romance in Paris should make their way to the top of the Eiffel Tower to take in the view, indulge in pastries and Champagne at a small restaurant, and enjoy a carriage ride for two around the city.
And, as a fashion mecca, Paris has some of the most opulent and impressive shopping destinations. Whether you plan on casually strolling through a few stores or shopping until you drop, this is an activity that should be experienced at least once in your life.
