Boston, MA
This great American city is not just cheap, it’s a treasure trove of history. Take a walking tour to Faneuil Hall and the Old North Church then visit one of the many excellent museums, admire the charming architecture, and enjoy the terrific nightlife scene and don’t forget to order seafood.
Denver, CO
Denver, also known as the Mile High City, is an adventure hub. Most people think of Denver as a ski destination but it’s a city thriving with world-class attractions. Visitors can hike and bike, explore various neighborhoods that offer art and shopping, and check out the music and brewery scene.
Fort Lauderdale, FL
Fort Lauderdale is so much more than just beaches! Fort Lauderdale is famous for its arts, culture, and events, too. Visitors can enjoy a variety of activities from shopping on Las Olas Boulevard, to gondola rides on the canals, to a historic riverfront.
Seattle, WA
Beautiful setting for a beautiful city. Join the shoppers at Pike Place Market, see the so-kitschy-it’s-cool Space Needle, ride on the Seattle-Bainbridge Island ferry and take in the view from the waterfront.
Cancun, MX
Cancun isn’t just for university students on holiday. It’s an inexpensive and beautiful destination that’s perfect for relaxing on the beach, exploring archaeological sites, and experiencing nature. Be sure to see a cenote (pictured above) while visiting the Yucatan Peninsula.
Dublin, Ireland
If you haven’t been to Ireland, what are you waiting for? Dublin is a lovely city with wonderful people. See Dublin Castle (dating from the 13th century), the Book of Kells (circa 800 A.D.), and decidedly modern nightlife. London, England
London is one of the world’s most popular cities because there’s so much to see: the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace, the Tower of London, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, plus spectacular views from atop the London Eye, astonishing treasures at the British Museum. Top it off with a meal at one of the city’s trendy restaurants followed by a night of theater at Shakespeare’s Globe.

Barcelona is a feast for the senses, a banquet of art and architecture, of Catalan dishes. Take in the sights including Gaudi architecture like La Sagrada Família, Casa Batlló, and Casa Milà. Don’t forget to visit Park Güell to see the city and for a photo op. Take time to visit the cathedrals and art museums before heading out to dinner and clubs.
Madrid
Madrid, is a stunning destination with medieval architecture, royal palaces, art museums, and serene parks. Tapas, traditional paella, and sangria should all be enjoyed while visiting.
Iceland
Enjoy the midnight sun as you visit a glacier, immerse yourself in a natural hot spring, take in a music festival, go whale watching or see colonies of puffins amidst gorgeous scenery. Reykjavik’s nightlife is pretty awesome, too.
