American Flights End at Burbank Feb. 9

The last American flights to and from Burbank will cease as of Feb. 9. The airline, however, is still a major presence at Los Angeles International (LAX) and no changes are expected there.

American had operated as many as three flights a day out of Burbank, and while passengers will be affected, AA employees will not since operations there were contracted out.
