Yakutia Airlines is an airline based in Yakutsk, Russia, a.k.a. the Sakha Republic. The airline is also referred to as JSC Aircompany Yakutia. In case you didn’t know, Yakutia is Russia’s largest administrative and territorial unit. Yakutia Airlines operates regular and charter flights throughout Yakutia and to and from cities in the Far East and central regions of Russia, as well as to countries in Africa, Asia, Europe and the Middle East. Yakutavia treasures stable, comfort and safe flights. They won the national aviation award ‘Wings of Russia’ in 2014, having also been nominated for the ‘Airline of the Year – Group 2 Regional Carrier’ award. Previously known as Sakha Avia, the airline merged with Yakutavia in 2002 and changed its name to Yakutia Airlines. It now operates more than 55 flights from its hubs at Yakutsk Airport, Moscow’s Vnukovo Airport and Krasnodar Airport.
