Ole! Just the name alone sounds like a good time. This low-cost carrier is what you might call “the other half” to Ryanair – Europe’s biggest low-cost carrier, as they’re part-owned by them. VivaAerobús was founded in 2006 and its corporate headquarters are in Cargo Zone of Terminal C on the grounds of General Mariano Escobedo International Airport (MTY) in Apodaca, Nuevo León.
The company slogan is “The Low Cost Airline of Mexico” and that motto stands true. VivaAerobús currently flies to over 20 destinations. Their focus cities are Benito Juárez International Airport (MEX), Don Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla Int'l Airport (GDL) and Federal de Bachigualato International Airport (Culiacán).
