Formally known as Cubana de Aviación S.A., Cubana is a national airline based in Cuba and is also the country’s largest airline. Cubana’s corporate headquarters are in Havana and their hub is José Martí International Airport (HAV). Originally they were a subsidiary of Pan American and then later owned by private Cuban investors. However, the Cuban Government has wholly owned the airline since 1959.
Their focus cities are Antonio Maceo Airport, Juan Gualberto Gómez Airport, Frank País Airport and their airport lounge is the Club Tropical Lounge. They are not a member of any alliance and only fly to 20 destinations that include, but are not limited to, Cuba, Mexico, Spain and Russia.
