Transportes Aereos del Continente Americano, or TACA for short, is the flag carrier of El Salvador. It was founded in 1931 in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, and expanded throughout Central America through the 90's. It expanded into South America in the year 2000, and merged with Avianca in 2013, also joining Star Alliance.
Being around since 1931 means celebrating over 75 years of touching the lives of so many people. The name of their frequent flyer club - LifeMiles - is very fitting, since TACA will stick with you for life!
