Maybe you have flown some of SkyTrax‘ 2015 Best Airlines award winners but if you’re in the U.S. and don’t do much international traveling, probably not.
And the Best Airline in the World Is —
Qatar Airways. The Middle East-based carrier has won the top spot before and is renowned for its amenities in both coach and first class; the latter features fully lie-flat beds made with Frette linens (and duvet!) plus Armani amenity kits and more.
The rest of the top 10 has yet to be announced but the news sleuths at CNN have gotten hold of a list which is presented in alphabetical order only since they didn’t sleuth out exactly where each airline landed on the list.
May we present – the usual suspects:
- ANA (All Nippon Airways)
- Cathay Pacific
- Garuda Indonesia
Ahem. Anyone notice which country has no airlines on the list?
Best Low-Cost Carrier in the World
Meanwhile, the best low-cost carrier in the world is reportedly the same one that’s topped the list for the past six years: AirAsia.
