American Airlines announces its Boeing 787 Dreamliner flights begin this spring. This cool and relatively new plane features big, ‘dimmable’ windows, improved cabin humidity and it’s said to be a whole lot quieter than other aircraft.
American’s 787-8s will also feature “a walk-up bar stocked with snacks and refreshments for customers traveling in the premium cabin.” Where and when to find them:
AA’s Domestic Dreamliner Flights
- May 7: American’s Dreamliner flights begin service between Dallas’ DFW airport and Chicago O’Hare.
AA’s International Dreamliner Flights
- June 2: American launches Dreamliner service between Dallas/DFW and Beijing.
- June 4: Service begins between Dallas/DFW and Buenos Aires.
More flights are expected later this year; those above can be booked starting Feb. 14.
Other Airlines’ Dreamliner Flights
Here’s a handy link from Boeing that tracks all Dreamliner airlines and flights.
United: See United Airlines flights between Houston and Denver, Newark, San Francisco and London, plus Los Angeles to Shanghai.
International airlines: Other carriers offering Dreamliner flights include Air Canada, British Airways, Norwegian Air Shuttle and many more including several Middle East and Asian airlines.
Already flown the Dreamliner? We’d love to hear about it.
