Virgin America's New Pre-Flight Safety Video is Cure for Boredom

Virgin America has always been a little different; remember the discount carrier’s in-flight flirting video¬†featuring an amusingly deadpan Richard Branson? Now the San Francisco-based airline unleashes a new video which steals a page from Glee (see below).

Sexist or superb? Virgin’s hit-on drink service

Singing, Dancing Safety Video

The all-dancing, almost all-singing extravaganza features 36 energetic flight attendants and passengers doing it all from break dancing to tango while singing/rapping all the familiar safety regulations in a joyful pop music video. It’ll be the shortest five minutes you ever spent sitting through the buckle-up message. Tip: The robotic life-vest demo is not to be missed.

Stars of the Future?

A helpful press release says the cast includes 10 alumni from So You Think You Can Dance plus one American Idol semi-finalist (Todrick Hall). Look for two former Olympians in cameo roles, too, Tamara Campos and Emilie Livingston (both rhythmic gymnastics).
