Southwest Tops Best Brand List. But Which Airline is Number Two?

You know Southwest is popular. And even though the carrier had some difficulty with its on-time arrival performance earlier this year, it had no difficulty winning ‘best airline brand’ (mid-year results for 2014 in the U.S.).

Best Airline Brand Perception

Says who? BrandIndex, which claims it “continuously measures public perception of thousands of brands across dozens of sectors” by conducting more than 2.5 million consumer interviews a year. They do this for companies ranging from fast food to electronics and social media, and here are BrandIndex’s mid-year Top Buzz Rankings for U.S. airlines.
