    New Tarmac Rule Limits Time Stuck on Airplanes: Will it Work?

    The Dept. of Transportation rule called, “Enhancing Airline Passenger Protections” went into effect Thursday April 29, to the relief of travelers planning summer vacation. The new “3-hour” rule means passengers will no longer be forced to stay ‘trapped’ on the tarmac for more than three hours. What does this mean for travelers – and the airlines?
