UPDATED: New Airlines Routes Added for U.S. and U.K. Cities

Is your favorite carrier adding a route to a city you’ve always wanted to visit? Take a look. The big winner of the summer looks to be a certain city in Scotland.

British Airways

International: The carrier has just begun a new route from Edinburgh to Ibiza with two flights a week; this will increase to three times a week beginning June 13.

United Airlines

Domestic: The airline has begun new twice daily service from Chicago to St. Cloud, Minn. flying 50-seat CRJs.

International: New non-stop summer service – daily beginning June 12 and Sept. 1 – from Chicago to Edinburgh continues through Oct. 5

US Airways

International: Seasonal service from Charlotte to Barcelonacontinues through Sept. 27. UPDATE: Barcelona service now extended through Oct. 24. Service between Philadelphia and Edinburgh continues through Sept. 30.

  • Charlotte – to Brussels. Now through Sept. 1
  • Charlotte – to Lisbon. Now through Sept. 28
  • Charlotte – to Manchester. Now through  Sept. 2
