If you live in the United Kingdom and want to go to Malta (a Mediterranean island off the coast of Sicily), you might want to consider flying Air Malta if only for the perks. They’ll rub you the right way.
Economy Perk on Air Malta: Massages
One perk in particular – onboard massages – was unveiled late last week. According to the U.K.’s Telegraph, two personal masseuses went through the economy section of a Gatwick-to-Malta flight offering hand, feet and neck massages. For free.
It was part of a promotion with Myoka Spas to draw attention to the airline’s boast that it “Cares More.” We can’t promise it will always be available – the Air Malta website only says it will be available “on selected flights” but one can hope.
It certainly beats a free pack of peanuts. Heck, we think it beats a free bag (sorry, Southwest). Now if only other airlines would get in on the act.
Questions for Economy Travelers
Would you like an onboard massage? Enough to pay for it? Is there any other perk you’d pay for? We’d love to hear.
