Free Skype Wi-Fi at 50 U.S. Airports during the Holidays

The free “voice over Internet protocol” service known as Skype – for calls, instant messaging, video conferencing and more – is trying to make the holidays a little easier for stressed out travelers by giving people free Wi-Fi at 50 U.S. airports.

Free Wi-Fi from Dec. 21 through Dec. 27

This promotion is good from Dec. 21 through Dec. 27. It is not unlimited access – Skype will only provide one free hour per person in 50 airports, and you can see which airports will have it in the Skype interactive map below.

What to Do if Flights are Canceled or Delayed

Still, a hour will provide plenty of time to stay in touch with friends or family and could come in very handy in case of flight delays or other problems.
