If you’ve been looking for love in all the wrong places you might want to try the airport. At least that’s what a flurry of recent news stories suggest.
The latest promises the five best airports for “hook ups” which FareCompare will chivalrously refer to as “dating.” Responses were based on a survey of 60,000 presumably romantically-inclined members of an online meeting site.

The following airports were cited because they offer a lively and varied bar/dining scene, or because of long delays – a necessary ingredient perhaps for igniting some sparks.

There’s more. A couple of years ago, the men’s care brand AXE came up with a global list of best and worst connections airport, but only U.S. airports cracked the top five for best airports (Paris’ Charles de Gaulle was number seven):
