Well, we call the changes to Alaska’s Eskimo a face-lift; the airline calls it a ‘brand refresher‘. Either way, the kindly gentleman is looking good and yes, a little younger. [See the charming video below] So what’s going on?
Alaska Airlines Refreshes its Brand
Apparently after 25 years, Alaska decided it was time for a change. In addition to the small alterations made to the face of the carrier – the Eskimo – Alaska has also switched the font for its name to a cleaner, less spiky look plus there’s a new predominantly blue color scheme.
By year’s end, Alaska plans to refresh the outside of 40 planes and will be be sprucing up cabins, too. They also plan updates for Alaska’s airport areas (100+).
