In an earlier post, Travel the “Low Season” and Save in Europe, I mentioned how fall is a great season for savings – and what with this being the first day of the brisk autumn season, let’s look at what’s happening at some Caribbean destinations.
Find flights to Caribbean from your home airport
Panama – Already one of the more overlooked tropical destinations, Panama’s rainy season typically ceases sometime in November. That’s the time to strike, as sites like the Panama Canal and local rainforest parques and jungle hikes typically face a transitional period of less traffic. Upon arrival, food and scattered travel expenses are almost nil.
Costa Rica – You’ll find a similar seasonal transition here, and this beautiful region can offer some exceptional biodiversity on its own.
