Southwest Airfare Sale on Select Routes

New Southwest sale; these deals starting at $59+ each-way (not including taxes/fees) are a near mirror image of the new AirTran sale which is no surprise since Southwest took over AirTran awhile back, but there are a few minor differences and if your destination city isn’t on sale on one carrier, see if the other has it.
Book by Thursday, Sept. 1. Travel from Sept. 9 through Dec. 14, but as you might expect, this sale does not cover Thanksgiving: blackout dates include Nov. 17-19); it is, however, good for Halloween, seeing fall foliage and the launch of the Christmas shopping season. Good for travel on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.
