With the new Star Trek movie taking theaters by storm, it seemed like the perfect time to highlight some destinations that are perfect for all the Trekkies, Trekkers, and plain old fans out there. Hit the Star Trek Convention in Las Vegas (Aug. 6 – Aug. 9, 2009) to meet special guests from movies past and present, partake in a Klingon feast, enjoy all that Vegas has to offer, and much more. You can also head to Detroit to take in Star Trek: The Exhibition at the Detroit Science Center which features recreations of sets from the show, adventure rides, and even its own “transporter” room.
