Astronomy buffs eagerly await this July 22, the date of the next total solar eclipse. If you’re in the right spot, it will truly be a sight to behold. The total solar eclipse of 2009 will be the longest of the new century (lasting over 6 1/2 minutes in some locations). The eclipse isn’t visible from the U.S., but this year sky gazers are in luck, because “Totality” will be visible in a range of relatively easy to get to locations including Shanghai and Hangzhou .
