Deals Roundup – Best Airfare Sales

Call this our Valentine’s Day Edition – or the February Frolics – or the Delightful Deals of the Caribbean. Or just call it a bunch of good flight deals, and get ready to shop. Here we go:

Southwest Click ‘n Save Flight Deals – Book by Feb. 3

This is the latest edition of the popular airline’s weekly click ‘n save deals, with a few flights as low as $49+ each-way (not including taxes and fees); most deals are higher, but they’re still pretty good bargains.

Virgin America Red Hot Valentine Airfares – Book by Feb. 7

This is a two-tiered sale from the elegant discounter: there are deals to Cabos and Cancun, and deals to all their other destinations including Florida, Las Vegas, New York and LA. Prices start at $59+ each-way (again, not including taxes/fees).

Fly to the Mexico resort cities through May 25, and fly to U.S. cities through Feb. 28 (and you can fly to those domestic locations through May, too, at slightly higher sale prices).

AirTran – Big Games Airfare Sale – Book by Feb. 8

We’re not sure what this airfare sale has to do with any “big game” since it’s not valid for this Sunday (but hey – we’re not going to criticize anyone for capitalizing on the Super Bowl to promote a site, now, are we?)

But it is a good, good sale with prices as low as $59+ each-way (but you have to add in the taxes and fees) and it’s good for travel through late May to Las Vegas, Mexico, the Caribbean and much, much more (sale prices to Florida destinations are valid through March 16).

Frontier – Valentine or Ski Airfare Sales – Book by Feb. 10

At these prices – as low as $69+ each-way (remember to add extra for taxes/fees), you can afford to visit your Valentine, or maybe go someplace together to ski and snuggle. Or just ski.

This sale is a short and sweet one – the travel period is only from Feb. 10 to Feb. 16, but it sounds just right for the perfect getaway. And don’t you deserve one?
