Halloween Costumes – Where to See Them

Want to dress up like JetBlue’s Steven Slater this Halloween?

You know, he’s the former flight attendant who made that spectacular airplane exit via inflatable slide, beers in hand.

Or maybe you just want to see someone in a costume like that. What you want is a parade. Here are some good ones, and we tell you how to find the best prices for flights to parade cities.

    Top Halloween Costume Parades

    1. New York City’s Village Halloween Parade

This is arguably the best Halloween parade in the country, drawing about 50,000 costumed participants and up to 2 million spectators. You will see outrageous costumes here. And finding cheap flights to New York City is easy. Bring your camera.

    2. Dallas’ Oak Lawn Halloween Parade and Festival

They promise “music, beer, food, and the outrageous costume parade, plus special entertainment” and regulars say it must be seen to be believed. The celebration takes place on Oct. 30. Find good deals to Dallas, and start choosing a spooky or spect”acular outfit now.

    3. New Orlean’s Halloween Parade in the Boo Carre

New Orleans – it’s not just for Mardi Gras. Join them for a parade followed by the “Monster Bash” – both on Oct. 30. We can help you find the best available fares to New Orleans, and then – as they say – Laissez les “boo” temps rouler!

    4. Orlando’s Disney Parade

Go to Walt Disney World for “Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party” which features a parade and more (there is an extra charge for this “special event”). Find great airfare to Orlando and enjoy Mickey’s party through Nov. 1.

    5.  Las Vegas’ First Annual Halloween Parade

Begin a new tradition in Vegas this Oct. 31; they promise a “radically participatory parade” so it should be interesting. We show you cheap flights to Las Vegas, and once the parade’s over, we’re sure you’ll find something else to do there.
