It’s shaping up to be another great Tuesday to shop for airfare. Some new fall and winter airfare sales are in the mix, and Southwest Airlines’ big winter sale is still up and running.

AirTran 3-Day Airfare Sale
AirTran is back with another one of its popular 3-day airfare sales. This time around, they’re offering up a bit of “R & R” in cities across the U.S. including Boston, Denver, Dallas, Las Vegas, New York, and Los Angeles. As if often the case with AirTran sales, you can also find deals to international locales like Nassau and Cancun.
Purchase your airline ticket by 11:59 PM ET on November 18, 2010 for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday travel through February 9, 2011. A 10-day advance purchase is required, and there are blackout dates.

Frontier Airlines Fall & Winter Airfare Sale
Frontier Airlines’ latest airfare sale gives you a little more time to act than AirTran’s. Purchase your airline ticket by November 23, 2010 for travel through February 16, 2011. Deals are good for flights from Noon on Monday to Noon on Thursday (there are blackout dates).
You can find airfare deals to a range of U.S. cities including Chicago, Los Angeles, Omaha, Aspen, Phoenix, and more. Airfare starts as low as $44+ each-way on some routes.

Southwest Airlines Winter Airfare Sale
Southwest Airlines’ winter airfare sale features deals for flights every day of the week between December 1, 2010 and February 16, 2011 (there are blackout dates).
The sale covers cities across Southwest’s route system including Austin, Baltimore, Nashville, Las Vegas, Dallas, and New York. Airfare starts as low as $59+ each-way on some routes.
