Airfare Deals Round-Up: Sales from Southwest, Virgin America, and AirTran
Once again, Tuesday is proving to be a great day to shop for airfare. A new round of airfare sales kicked off, offering travelers deals for Halloween, fall, and winter.
Southwest Airlines Early Treats Sale
Southwest Airlines is handing out Halloween treats a little early this year, and they’re doing it in the form of a 72-hour fall/winter airfare sale.
Airfare can be found for $30+ one-way, $60+ one-way, $90+ one-way, and $120+ one-way depending on the distance of the flight:
- For travel up to 450 miles, fares are $30+ one-way.
- For travel between 451 and 1,000 miles, fares are $60+ one-way.
- For travel between 1,001 and 1,500 miles, fares are $90+ one-way.
- For travel more than 1,501 miles, fares are $120+ one-way.
Purchase your airline ticket by 11:59 p.m. PDT Oct. 28, 2010, for travel between Dec. 1, 2010, and Dec. 15, 2010, and between January 4, 2011, and Feb. 16, 2011. Deals are good for travel on all days except Sunday.

Virgin America Halloween Airfare Sale
Virgin America is getting into the Halloween spirit with their latest airfare sale. Find deals on a range of Virgin America routes for travel between October 26 and October 31, 2010. Airfare starts as low as $34+ one-way on some routes.
Grab your ticket by October 30, 2010. A one-day advance purchase is required.

AirTran Fall/Winter Airfare Sale
AirTran’s fall and winter airfare sale gives you the chance to snag deals to destinations across the United States or to international destinations like Cancun, Montego Bay, and Aruba.
You have until November 9, 2010 to purchase your airline ticket for travel through February 9, 2011. There are blackout dates, and a 10-day advance purchase is required.
