You guys are awesome! I bought a ticket yesterday for $480.00. I happened to be my computer last night and got a fare alert that the same flight was $245!! I was able to cancel the first flight and rebook it saving $235.00! Thanks, FareCompare!!

Thank you, thank you, thank you! Last week I received an alert from your site regarding a GREAT, WONDERFUL rate to Hawaii January 29 – February 12 for three of us! The local travel agent said in the fall we could probably find a ticket in the 500s and sometimes it even falls to the 400s. Three of us are going on United for 488 each including all taxes and fees! We really feel like we scored Grand Prize in the lottery!

@Sisarina Yeah, $585 Philly-Rome is pretty good, but it’s still $200 more than the amazing deal I found on FareCompare. (I <3 @rickseaney!)

A friend of mine suggested http://bookingbuddy.com for finding the best airfares… but I was listening to a story on the current low air fare rates on NPR by someone from http://farecompare.com I noted the site because the guy was giving GREAT advice about when to travel for the best rates, and all sorts of great tips. So, I just checked out their site and did a few compare searches.

This I by far the best booking site for airfare I”ve found to date! http://www.farecompare…

Anyone have one that”s even better?

FareCompare offers a flexible destination search through their “Destination Deal Maps” in the middle of the page. Click on the continent you want, and a list of fares will appear. Clicking on a fare shows you the dates eligible for the fare. Pick a date, then an airline, and the system checks seat availability. FareCompare doesn’t sell tickets, so you’re directed to one of the major online agencies to close the deal.

I wanted to thank you for the incredible service you offer. I have been tracking flights to Honolulu out of Dallas for several months. Yesterday, I received an email updated saying they had dropped to $276. I had to pounce on these prices. They were around $875 when I began my search. Same flight today is $587. My family is going to have a wonderful week in Honolulu thanks to you!!

The trip was also booked through Orbitz, so if the flight does go any cheaper, I will receive the difference. Amazing!
